SR20 was a commenter here eons ago who fibbed. A lot. Among claims were that he had a Lotus Esprit. He is the origin of the term “SR20” on this board as a short version of “pics or it didn’t happen”.

See, there was a member of the community here with the handle SR20. He made representations about purchasing an Esprit that turned out to be not truthful. That’s where the “SR20 Rule” came from (pics or it didn’t happen).

Maybe not, it’s hard to find the pre-5.No comments. I do remember the story about him getting out of the ticket because he was the famous SR20 on Jalopnik.
